A Purrfect Way Pet Sitting Service was established in 2000 by Fran
and her husband, Mike.  

Fran has a Bachelor's Degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland and
worked for many years in the field of Social Services.  In the year 2000,
she decided to pursue her true passion and combine her life-long love of
animals with her human services background.  She actually began informally
pet sitting at age 12, when she would watch the pets of neighbors and friends
and care for their houses while they were on vacation.  Mike, an animal lover
from a very young age, whole-heartedly supported the concept of
establishing southern Calvert County's first professional
pet sitting service.  A Purrfect Way Pet Sitting Service is a
dream come true!

Our goal is to provide loving, professional care for pets
in their own homes, where they can remain
safe and secure in their daily routine.

Why Chose A Purrfect Way Pet Sitting Service over the
other local services?

As the oldest professional pet sitting service in southern
Calvert County, we have  over 10 years of experience as a
professional pet sitting service and can provide you with many
personal references.

Our visit rates are the most reasonable compared to the
other local services.  We have a flat rate fee per visit
and do NOT have surcharges for gasoline, nor do we
charge extra for  medication administration (including
insulin injections, with which we have years of
experience), or visits scheduled at the last minute.

Superior customer service--your phone calls and email
inquiries are returned promptly (often less than 12 hours,
unless we are on vacation!)  If you send us an email and do not
hear back from us, please call us on the phone--we sometimes
experience delays in receiving emails due to server issues and
we do not want to miss the opportunity to speak with you about
your pet care needs!

If we have free time during our day, we may decide to stay
longer with your pets, and we do not charge you for this
extra "unscheduled extra time".  Of course, if you wish to
permanently schedule a longer visit with your pets on a regular
basis this can be written into the contract, and an additional
fee will apply to each sit.

We have 3-day cancellation policy for a full refund--
other local services require 7-14 days notice!
